I am a 43-year-old mother of two, diagnosed with triple-positive breast cancer in August 2012. Before my diagnosis, I knew nothing about cancer. This blog is the story of a journey that I never dreamed I would have to take.

Nutshell Update
My skin test was positive, which is a very good thing, and that result cleared the way for me to restart chemotherapy, this time through the desensitization process. An ICU bed has become available and we leave in an hour for admission to the hospital. Treatment will begin tomorrow morning with lots of pre-medication before that. Thank you for all of your support!
